MetaTrader 5 · REST · MCP

Talk to your MT5 account. Your agent, your rules, our rails.

A hosted bridge that puts your MetaTrader 5 terminal behind a clean API and an MCP server, so Claude, ChatGPT or your own code can read the book, place orders and copy trades, inside limits you set once and we enforce every time.

Hosted in our cloud or installed on your own terminal. No advice, no black box. Every write is logged.

How it works

Three parts, and you only touch one of them.

The terminal runs a small bridge. The bridge talks only outward, to us. You talk to the API.

Terminal

A bridge on the chart

Hosted: give us the broker server and login and we run the terminal for you, credentials sealed in a vault we cannot read back. Self-installed: two files on your own MT5, tick "Allow DLL imports", paste your key.

Cloud

State up, commands down

Account, positions, orders and quotes stream up on every tick. Commands wait on a long-poll and land on the terminal the instant they are queued. Lose the connection and the bridge freezes; it never guesses.

You

REST or MCP

Plain REST with keys for your own code. An MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT and agent frameworks, with the same tools and the same policy on every call.

The tool surface

Everything a trader does at the terminal, as a call.

Read

account positions orders history quote bars — balance, equity, margin, every open ticket with its swap and commission, deal history, live spread, candles from 1 minute to daily.

Trade

market limit stop modify close close_partial close_all — with slippage limits and magic numbers, so your agent's trades stay separate from your own.

Protect

trail breakeven kill — trailing and breakeven stops managed server-side, and one call that flattens the account and revokes the key.

Watch

Webhooks and server-sent events for fills, stops, margin warnings and policy blocks, so an agent can react instead of poll.

Explain

Every action carries a reason string from the caller and lands in an audit log you can read as a timeline: who asked, what was checked, what the broker replied.

Sandbox

Point a key at a demo account and the whole surface behaves identically. Promote to live by changing one setting, not your code.

Policy engine

An agent gets the keys only through the rails.

Limits live on the key, not in the prompt. The model can be wrong, jailbroken or simply enthusiastic, and the broker still only ever sees what the policy allows.

Each key carries its own rulebook. Give a research agent read-only access, a scalping agent a tight lot cap on two pairs, and yourself a wider one. A blocked order returns the exact rule it hit, so the agent learns the boundary instead of retrying blindly.

  • Rules are checked before any request reaches the broker, and rejected orders are never retried in a loop.
  • Margin is checked against the terminal's own numbers, not an estimate.
  • The audit log is append-only and exportable.
  • A paused key stays paused across restarts, ours and yours.
Copy trading

Any two bridged accounts can copy, in either direction.

A master and a follower are just two terminals on the same rails. Copying is a rule set on the command channel, which means it inherits every safety property above.

fixedevery master trade opens at the same lot on the follower
multiplierfollower lot = master lot × factor
equity ratioscaled by follower equity over master equity, pinned when the position group opens
risk percentsized so the master's stop equals a fixed percent of follower equity
symbol mapbroker suffixes and renames handled per follower
SL / TPcopy the master's, override them, or strip them
reversefollow the opposite side, for hedging a signal you want to fade
join mid-flightadopt open positions at the current price, or wait for the next fresh one
Data

Ask about the last eleven years before you ask about the next hour.

Tick and bar history for 29 currency pairs from 2015, an economic calendar of 130,000 events, and a rule backtester your agent can call in a single turn.

The agent writes the rule as a small spec. The numbers come from deterministic code that fills at the next bar open, charges the real spread and swap, and reports every year separately. No lookahead, no averaging away the bad year.

  • Indicators computed on the fly: SMA, EMA, RSI, ATR, MACD, Bollinger, anchored VWAP on tick volume.
  • Anchor a study to a date, a news event, or one of your own fills.
  • Results render as a shareable page, and the same call is available over REST.

Questions

The ones we get asked first.

Does the AI trade for me?

No. You, or an agent you run, send instructions. We enforce your limits and pass the order to your broker. We give no signals and no advice.

Which brokers work?

Any MetaTrader 5 broker. Hosted accounts need the trading password, not the investor one. Symbol suffixes are handled per account.

What happens if your service goes down?

The bridge freezes: nothing opens, nothing closes, your terminal keeps running its own stops. When we come back, positions are re-read from the broker, not from a cache.

Can I see everything the agent did?

Yes. Every call, the policy checks it passed or failed, and the broker's reply, in an exportable timeline.

Is my password safe if hosted?

It goes straight into a sealed secret store, is read only by the container that runs your terminal, and there is no human path to it. Revoking deletes both the secret and the container.

MetaTrader 4?

Not at launch. MT5 first, MT4 if the demand is there.

Private beta opens this autumn.

Leave an email and say which broker you use. First seats go to people who will actually run an agent against a demo account and tell us what breaks.
